Mother's Day Blog Contest

Okay, so your daughter comes home one night and tells you the news that she's dating a really nice guy.  BUT- he turns out to be a werewolf or vampire.  What would you do?

 

Now- for this contest you will receive a package of books for your Mother!  So hurry and get your blogs in as they will be chosen by a panel of judges!!!

Here is the real question. Will wolf boy shed on the couch? My whole family has allergies so it might be difficult to have him around in his other form. Plus if his other form does not wear pants - that would be awkward.

For fang face? I feel like bodily fluids belong in the body - not in the refrigerator. Would they be joining us for Thanksgiving? Does he just get a glass or do you set an unused plate for table symmetry? The girl can do as she pleases, but she should be thinking of the awkward situations this might put her poor mother through. JK

sooo this is an interesting question....since I have a single daughter and if she came and told me she was dating a Vampire...hmm I would ask if he had an uncle...not father....too gross

Well, although I can answer this two ways--one more politically correct for a married gal like me and one more appropriate for a married gal like me who is currently ticked at her hubby. Given where I'm at today, I'd want to know three things: 1) if he was a good kisser 2) what his father looked like and 3) if his dad available!

This would be an intriguing situation. I'm not sure I should answer using my inner fantasy world or the real world! ☺ But from my heart in either world, I have complete faith in my lovely daughter so I would trust her instincts on her choice of companionship. Yet ever the vigilant mother, whether he be a vampire or werewolf, I would observe closely how he treats my girl. Obviously I'm certain she would have already made sure they shared the same heart and mind, otherwise she wouldn't be with him. So I would celebrate their relationship and ache for the difficulties they will experience with inner species dating. I might even be so bold as to inquire about a mature version for me!

First of all if my daughter was dateing a vampire or werewolf it would be a step in the right direction from the pimple on a hogs ass she is dateing right now. But I would have a few questions .... I am gonna go with she is dateing a Vampire and I would need to know first of all does he sparkle in sunlight? If he does thats just wrong and he needs to go... Second does he actually feed off people or can he go with bagged blood? Cuz feeding off my daughter wont help her already overworked brain that needs all the blood flow it can get. And third how old is he? Some older guys tend to be very protective and old fashion which can be very nice but can also cause them to be overbearing and dare I say barbaric? So I guess if he can find his food source in a bank, not glitter in the sun and can control his neanderthal ways I'd say welcome to the family. :)
